The Manual Bandit from American Film & Machinery is a compact, all-in-one applicator and shrink tunnel designed to apply tamper-evident bands in a single pass. Engineered for versatility, it works with round, rectangular, oval, and uniquely shaped containers up to 9.85” in diameter—making it a smart fit for a wide range of packaging environments.
Instead of hand-applying preforms, the Manual Bandit provides semi-automatic banding with speed and consistency. The operator simply places the product in the transfer zone and presses two seal buttons to start the conveyor. The container passes through three integrated zones—film seal, preheat, and shrink—where the band is applied, sealed, and uniformly shrunk for a professional, tamper-evident finish.
